ABOUT US
The SN CHARITY TRUST was officially established in the year 2013 in India to help under privileged children in my hometown, Kothagudem of Bhadradri district in the state of Telangana. Activities of random charity like donating food and supplies to orphanages and old age homes was not remote to my family and friends. However, the process got more streamlined when my husband and I visited this school which caters for disabled children in a nearby town. The performance the children have put up at such a short notice was commendable.
We have established an association in Brisbane, Australia in 2016 with similar objectives. The trusts in India and Australia have been formed by a group of family and friends. My elderly parents have been predominantly involved with trust’s activities in India.
The trust has been helping Angel’s School for Special Care Children since 2015. The school is staffed by 3 teachers with special education skills and aided by 3 staff and 1 driver. It looks after a total of almost 50 children with Mental retardation, hearing impairment and blindness.
The trust has also been helping a local government primary school with basic supplies such as clean water, stationery, uniforms and shoes etc for under privileged children.
It has under taken food donations during community events and pilgrimages in large numbers.
Distributed medicines, clothing and helped with medical expenses for poor.
